Giving Back to Our Indigenous Community

At Longhouse Technologies, we believe true success means lifting others as we grow. As an Indigenous-owned tech company, we’re deeply committed to giving back—by supporting Indigenous talent, amplifying voices, and helping build a more inclusive technology future.

Mentorship & Workforce Readiness

We’re working to close the talent gap in cybersecurity and AI by empowering Indigenous youth and early-career professionals with:

  • 1:1 mentorship in technology, entrepreneurship, and business skills

  • Interview preparation and coaching to build confidence and readiness

  • Exposure to real-world tech environments that spark ambition and direction

Internship Opportunities

We are building a hands-on internship program that provides practical experience in IT, cybersecurity, and automation—equipping Indigenous students with the skills, confidence, and industry insight needed to thrive in tech.

Elevating Indigenous Talent & Ideas

We use our platform and partnerships to:

  • Connect Indigenous professionals with clients, hiring managers, and organizations seeking to diversify their teams

  • Collaborate with Indigenous groups to co-create events, content, and initiatives focused on inclusion in IT and cybersecurity

  • Champion Indigenous innovation, ideas, and leadership at every opportunity

Collaborating with Indigenous-Owned Businesses

We actively seek out and support partnerships with other Indigenous-owned companies, sharing opportunities, strengthening networks, and building a more connected, resilient Indigenous business ecosystem.

At Longhouse Technologies, we respectfully acknowledge that our work takes place on the unceded traditional territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish, and Musqueam Nations.

We also recognize that our operations in Alberta are conducted on the traditional lands of the Treaty 7 Nations: the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai Nations), the Tsuut’ina Nation, and the Îyârhe Nakoda Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Wesley). We further acknowledge the homeland of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
